MANILA, Philippines—Make that four rings for former Ateneo standout and NLEX cager Matt Nieto.
Nieto may not have sealed a ring in his young PBA career yet thus far but the 26-year-old talent most recently got a different one—a wedding ring, at that.
The young PBA player married Bianca Matanguihan on Thursday in Tagaytay with several personalities from the hardcourt attending the event.
The Blue Eagles’ “BEBOB” era members were in attendance for the point guard’s wedding, including coach Tab Baldwin, Isaac Go, BJ Andrade, Raffy Verano, Gian Mamuyac, brother Mike Nieto and Tyler Tio.
Those members of the “BEBOB” were part of Nieto’s three-championship stint in the UAAP and they were witnesses to his fourth.
Fellow Road Warriors Anthony Semerad took to Instagram to show the married couple with a backdrop of Tagaytay’s sunset.
NLEX figures Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser and Asi Taulava were also among the invited guests.
Charles Tiu, who will be coaching Strong Group Realty in an upcoming basketball invitational in Dubai next week, took a break from preparation and joined his “inaanak” for the special celebration.
