MANILA, Philippines—AMC Cotabato improved to 2-0 in the Spikers’ Turf Open Conference but coach Odjie Mamon was not satisfied with his team’s performance.

AMC beat Army, 25-15, 23-25, 25-22, 26-24, but committed 36 miscues much to the dismay of Mamon.

“We were so erratic and with the amount of errors, we were getting frustrated,” said Mamon, who was recently named interim coach of the Philippine men’s national team.
