MANILA, Philippines—Coming off a fiery performance, RJ Abarrientos turned cold as the Ulsan Hyundai Mobis Phoebus fell to the Seoul SK Knights, 73-68, in the Korean Basketball League at Jamsil Students’ Gymnasium on Tuesday.
Abarrientos was limited to eight points on just 3-of-12 shooting from the field after draining seven 3-pointers en route to a 23-point game in a victory over Wonju on Sunday.
The former Far Eastern University ace also collected four rebounds, three assists and two steals in the loss that gave Ulsan a 23-16 record.
The Knights banked on Jameel Warney’s double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds.
Choi Sung-Woon added 15 points, nine coming from downtown, for Seoul (22-16), which moved half a game behind third-running Ulsan.
Gauge Prim paced Ulsan, which has lost two of its last three games, with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
