PBA: TNT torches Terrafirma for third straight win
MANILA, Philippines–With its import playing efficiently and locals doing their fine share all game long, TNT picked apart Terrafirma, 131-109, in the PBA Governors’ Cup at Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday night.
Import Jalen Hudson had 36 points built on a 12-for-15 shooting to lead the Tropang Giga to their third straight win to go 5-1 overall in the season-ending showcase.

“We have a lot of players who can score … anybody can score as long as we share the basketball,” the interim coach said of the team’s output, which set the mark for the most points scored this tournament.

Mikey Williams tossed in 26 points in the scoring effort that extended the heavyweights’ mastery over the young franchise. The Tropang Giga now have won 15 straight meetings against the Dyip—a streak that has spanned six seasons.
Roger Pogoy had 16 points, Calvin Oftana 15 off the bench, while Kelly Williams pumped in 10 more as TNT remained sharp going into its clash against a hard-luck crew in 1-4 Blackwater.
Terrafirma reinforcement Jordan Williams had 38 points and 10 rebounds that went with six assists, while Juami Tiongson, Eric Camson, and Juan Gomez de Liaño registered twin-digit scores for the club which dropped to 2-3.
On tap for the Dyip is a Rain or Shine crew hell-bent on turning its conference around having lost its first four games.
