MANILA, Philippines—Perpetual Help made it a double victory over Emilio Aguinaldo College in the NCAA Season 98 volleyball tournaments on Sunday.

The Lady Altas swept the Lady Generals, 25-21, 26-24, 25-16, while the Altas also won in straight sets, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Mary Rose Dapol led Perpetual Help with 17 points built on 14  kills while Shaila Omipon added 16 points for the Lady Altas.

Cathrine Almazan was the lone double-digit scorer for the Lady Generals with 14 points.

Louie Ramirez, meanwhile, starred for the Altas with 15 points off 13 hits. Joshua Zareno and Jefferson Marapoc also played vital roles in the victory with 13 and 10, respectively.

Marvin Romero and Joshua Ramilo scored 13 apiece for the Generals.

Meanwhile, San Beda topped Letran, 28-26, 19-25, 25-22, 25-23.

The Red Lions drew 18 points from Kenrod Umali while Jerome Lopez dished out 20 excellent sets.

Vince Himzon’s game-high 21 points weren’t enough to lift the Knights.

Letran, however, exacted revenge in women’s play after the Lady Knights blanked the Lady Spikers, 25-20, 25-23, 28-26, behind Daisy Melendres’s stellar showing. Melendres starred with 15 points.
