MANILA, Philippines–TNT completed the first grand slam in PBA 3×3 history after also ruling the third conference of the second season on Sunday at Robinsons Place in Las Pinas.
The Tropang Giga frustrated San Miguel, 21-18, in the final to clinch the championship with Levin Flores lead the charge with 11 points on 7-of-9 from the field along with five rebounds.
Almond Vosotros, the PBA 3×3 undisputed scoring king, had a quiet seven points for TNT, which won its fourth straight conference title dating back to the Third Conference of Season 1.
TNT sneaked its way to the finals by disposing of 10th seed Purefoods, 21-15, in the quarterfinals, and turning back the stiff challenge from no. 4 team Barangay Ginebra, 21-16, to clinch the first finals berth.
The Beermen gave top seeded team all they could handle before falling short in the endgame to finish runner up. Barangay Ginebra, meanwhile, took third place with a 21-18 win over J&T.
