BOCAUE — Don’t get surprised if you see Jordanian star Dar Tucker playing for a PBA team in the future.

The 34-year-old guard sounded off on national television Monday night shortly after Jordan’s 91-90 escape from the Gilas Pilipinas in the Fiba World Cup Asian Qualifiers at Philippine Arena here.

“Anybody, coach, or any team that wants to pick me up?” the naturalized player said. “This is a great atmosphere. I would love to play here.”

Tucker had 22 points, 12 rebounds and two assists in the win that denied the Philippines a sweep of its two home stands in the final window.

He was also seen goofing around with fans during lulls.

“I love it. Ever since we got here, the people of the Philippines, they’re showing so much love,” Tucker said of the warm reception from the home fans.

Tucker can actually play in the PBA considering the pro league’s size thresholds. At 6-foot-4, the spitfire guard is well within the Governors’ Cup limit.

“I love to please the fans because you never know who’s out there, somebody who has never seen me before. And I want to make a great impression and whenever I leave, they will remember me,” he added.
