BARANGAY Ginebra coach Siot Tanquingcen knows that, in order for his Gin Kings to nail down a semifinal berth, they would have to do what they have so far never done in the PBA Governors’ Cup.

“The more you think about it, the more you get in trouble,” Tanquingcen said after winning Friday night when reminded that he and his Kings would need to win back-to-back games for the first time for a hitch-free ride to the playoffs.

It wouldn’t have been much of a problem for any team, unless one would be facing a powerhouse Talk ‘N Text side that has a winning streak going.

“We just need to get out there and play,” added Tanquingcen, referring to his 6:30 p.m. clash with the Tropang Texters at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today. “We just have to play hard and not worry about what they are doing.”
