Florencio, Lacerna rule Double Dragon Salvo in 7th GMTBC-Nilo Penado Open

Boy Florencio and Michael Lacerna ruled the Double Dragon Salvo, the special opening event of the 7th Grand Mall Tenpin Bowling Club (GMTBC)-Nilo Penado Open Championships that started Saturday at the Sta. Lucia Bowling Center in Cainta, Rizal.

The pair, who are both members of Sletba, rolled a total of 472 for the one-game event to clinch the top spot.

Ricky Tagulinao and Art Barrientos, another Sletba duo, came second with 441, followed by a GMTBC and Sletba pair of Edel Ocampo and Kassie Yap with 431.

FEATURED STORIES

The top three winners and the 4th to 6th placers received cash prizes.

The opening event provided an exciting feature in the week-long tournament that will end on March 12.

Players will vie for cash prizes in the following divisions—mixed open masters, mixed classified masters, mixed seniors, mixed associate seniors, and mixed youth masters.

Qualifying games are ongoing starting at 1 p.m. daily until March 10.

The tournament is sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Federation (PBF).
