PASSI CITY — Magnolia star Paul Lee tallied 28 points in the final round to emerge as the runaway winner of the 2023 PBA All-Star Weekend’s 3-Point Shootout at at City of Passi Arena.

The Hotshots guard, donning an event shirt, pushed his elbow racks farther from the rim and still found great success.

“I was just doing what’s comfortable for me,” Lee said shortly scoring 28 in the final  to also win the P30,000 prize.

Lee edged  San Miguel’s Marcio Lassiter (21) and Terrafirma’s Juami Tiongson (18) in the final, delighting the crowd here that included legendary PBA marksman Allan Caidic.

Three of the last four 3-Point Champions have been from the same Magnolia franchise: Lee, PJ Simon, and Allein Maliksi.

Up next for Friday’s All-Star revelries are the Slam Dunk Competition and Greats-Stalwarts clash that will pit the finest rookies, sophomores, and third-year players.
