Marcos had earlier vowed to step up government support for Filipino athletes.
Yulo seized the gold medal in vault on Sunday just a day after clinching the gold in parallel bars in the third leg of the World Cup Series.
The Tokyo Olympian’s pair of victories in Baku hiked his gold medal count to three in the four-leg series after ruling the floor exercise event in the Doha, Qatar stage a week ago.
The final stop of the World Cup will be held in Cairo, Egypt from April 27-30.
This year’s World Cup series is a qualifier for the apparatus events in the 2023 FIG Artistic Gymnastics World Championships in Antwerp, Belgium from September 30-October 8, which offers spots to the 2024 Paris Olympics.
