“Through NBA 3X, I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experiences with the participants as they compete for the tournament’s top honors.”
It won’t be Williams’ first time in the country after he and other former NBA standouts led by six-time champion Scottie Pippen put on a show for Filipino fans in an exhibition game against PBA greats back in 2012.

The 6-foot-1 point guard was the seventh overall pick by the Sacramento Kings in the 1998 draft and won a championship as a vital part of the Miami Heat in 2006. He also had stints with the Memphis Grizzlies and the Orlando Magic.
This year’s 3×3 features an under-19 and open division for boys and girls and a category.
A preliminary stage will be held at PICC Forum Tent on Sunday to determine the competitors for next week’s event.
More details will be announced on NBA Philippines’ Facebook.
