Miguel Tabuena and Justin Quiban of the Philippines on Saturday found themselves tied in the $750,000 DGC Open in India, six strokes off the new leader heading into the final 18 holes.

Tabuena matched par 72, while Quiban saved a 73 with a birdie on the 18th hole for 211 tallies as the tournament toasted a new leader for the third straight day after Rashid Khan of India fired a 68 to lead countryman Seenappa Chikkarangappa by three shots.

Khan, a 13-time winner as a pro and twice on the Asian Tour, gunned down six birdies after opening the third round with a double bogey 7 even as Chikkarangappa returned a birdie-less 74.

Honey Baisoya of India shot a day-best 65 to vault into serious contention at 210 like Thailand’s Chapchai Nirat, who shot a 71 and another home bet, Om Prakash Chouhan, who assembled a 73.
