Ramil De Jesus makes FEU Sports Hall of Fame

MANILA, Philippines—La Salle coach Ramil De Jesus added another accolade was awarded something else off the court.

De Jesus, who has yet to coach the Lady Spikers in the UAAP Season 85 due to personal reasons, was one of the recipients of the Sports Hall of Fame Award by the Far Eastern University during its Green and Gold Awards.

De Jesus, who played opposite hitter for FEU and graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Commerce Major in Management in 1993, is one of the most decorated coaches in the country.

The veteran mentor has 11 UAAP championships under his belt. He also steered the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers to multiple titles in the Philippine Superliga.

De Jesus is expected to make his return to the sidelines in the second round of the UAAP women’s volleyball tournament. La Salle currently leads the league at 6-0 with Noel Orcullo calling the shots on an interim basis.
