MANILA, Philippines—PBA 3X3 champion Almond Vosotros and naturalized player Ange Kouame headline the men’s 3×3 basketball pool for the Southeast Asian games happening in Cambodia this May.

Vosotros, who has been a big factor in TNT’s Grand Slam run in the PBA 3×3 tournament, will spearhead the team alongside Kouame to be managed by new coach Lester Andrew Del Rosario.

Also in part of the potential lineup are Rodel Samboy De Leon, Brandon Matthew Bates, Jorey Napoles, Lervin Flores, Joseph Emmanuel Eriobu, Jeffrey Manday, Alfred Ryan Batino and Joseph Sedurifa.

The men’s team looks to improve on their bronze finish in the last iteration of the SEA Games.

In women’s play, Pat Aquino will also call the shot for the 3×3 team, again, headlined by returning Jack Danielle Aminam.

After not capturing any podium finishes last SEA games, Aquino and Aminam will aim to finish stronger in Phnom Penh with Afril Bernardino, Ana Alicia Katrina Castillo, Quinn Kacey Dela Rosa, Janine Pontejos, Clare Castro, Kristine Cayabyab and Mai Loni Leshae’ Henson.

Aminam also headlined the 25-woman pool for the 5-on-5 games with Aquino also calling the shots for said event.

The 3×3 team, however, will have full independence with none of the players being included in the 28-man pool for Gilas Pilipinas to be coached by Chot Reyes.
