Giemel Magramo gets back on track in Blow-by-Blow headliner
MANILA, Philippines—Giemel Magramo needed only two rounds to dispatch Sanchai Yotboon of Thailand to claim the WBO Youth Global flyweight title during a Blow-By-Blow special presentation on Saturday night at Okada Manila Hotel and Casino in Parañaque City.
With ring legend Manny Pacquiao in attendance as the special guest during the Elorde Boxing Awards, Magramo made a good account of himself with vicious body shots that led to the second round stoppage at 1:28.

Magramo, a former world title challenger, headlined the six-fight card that marked the fourth staging of Blow-by-Blow since its revival late last year.
“It is my burning desire to give our local fighters the opportunity to shine,” Pacquiao said.

Matchmaker Art Monis shared Pacquiao’s sentiments.
“This program is a big boost to local boxing because not everyone has got what it takes to promote. Good thing that (former) Senator Manny Pacquiao is here,” Monis said.
The 28-year-old Magramo (27-3, 22KOs) contended for the vacant WBO flyweight belt back in November 2020 and suffered an eighth-round knockout at the hands of Japan’s Junto Nakatani in Tokyo.
