PVL: F2 Logistics’ Kim Fajardo shows she still has it even after injuries
MANILA, Philippines—Kim Fajardo’s Premier Volleyball League career-high in points is special for her as it will serve as a testament that she still got it.
The veteran setter orchestrated the Cargo Movers’ offense with 24 excellent sets and delivered a team-best four blocks and two aces including five attacks as they captured their first bronze medal in the Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference.

“Masaya ako kakabalik ko lang maglaro talaga ng full game kasi galing ako sa injury. So, tine-test ko yung sarili ko kung hanggang saan yung limit ko after nung surgery, lahat ng injuries ko,” she added.
(Those 11 points are special because for me an individual player I know that I still got it. I’m happy because this [conference] is my first time playing full games coming off an injury. I’m pushing myself to the limits after my surgery from all my injuries.”

“Before the start of the game. I said that whatever happens, regardless of how many sets, this game is ours. We won’t give it away,” said the playmaker in Filipino.
Despite not making it to the finals, the 29-year-old was pleased with their third place standing but it won’t stop them from reaching greater heights as the Cargo Movers will go back to work after a short break to prepare for the Invitationals.
“We might not get it this conference. We know that we had a lot of lapses. But in the next conference, we will improve it. We don’t want to lose again easily and we won’t allow not to be in the top three in Philippine volleyball. Those will be our mindset and inspiration for the next conference,” Fajardo said.
