MANILA, Philippines—Kiefer Ravena and the Shiga Lakes hiked their winning streak to four after outlasting the Yokohama Bee Corsairs, 102-95, in the Japan B.League at Shiga Prefecture on Saturday.
Ravena, meanwhile, continued his solid showing and finished with a stat line of 16 points, four rebounds and two assists to complement Ivan Buva and Daequan Jones’s 23-marker performances.
His brother Thirdy, on the other hand, had a much forgettable game but the San-En Neophoenix still squeaked past the Toyama Grouse, 79-73, at Aichi Prefecture.
Thirdy only finished with five points, sinking only one of his five tries from the field to go along with six boards, four assists and three steals. Former NBA player Kyle O’Quinn more than made up for the lack of offense with 23 markers.
Kai Sotto and the Hiroshima Dragonflies, meanwhile, one-upped Matthew Wright and Kyoto Hannaryz, 92-76, at Hiroshima Prefecture.

Sotto powered the Dragonflies with an all-around game of 14 points, six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and two steals while shooting an efficient 50 percent from the field (5-for-10).
Wright, on the other end, finished with just seven points on an abysmal 3-for-13 shooting night for Kyoto.
Dwight Ramos and Carl Tamayo, however, did not have the same luck in the B1 division on Saturday.
Levanga Hokkaido suffered a 92-81 beatdown at the hands of Niigata Albirex BB at Niigata Prefecture.

Ramos had a subpar performance as a starter for Hokkaido, playing for 18 minutes but only finishing with four markers and two boards.
Tamayo, meanwhile, was left scoreless again in Ryukyu Golden Kings’ 89-85 defeat against the Chiba Jets at Chiba Prefecture.
The former University of the Philippines cager was only fielded in for two minutes, without garnering any other stats.
Over at the B2 division, Jordan Heading had himself a game in Nagasaki Velca’s 91-75 routing of Saga Barunas at Saga Prefecture.
Heading was the leading scorer for Nagasaki with 20 markers built on four buckets from beyond the arc. He also snagged seven dimes, two rebounds and a steal in the victory.
The Kagawa Five Arrows, meanwhile, zoomed past Rising Zephyr Fukuoka, 75-67, at Fukuoka Prefecture.
Greg Slaughter made the most of his 15 minutes on the floor, ending up with 13 markers, seven rebounds and three blocks on a nearly-perfect 85.7 percent shooting clip. He converted six out of seven attempts in the field.
