MANILA, Philippines—Rhenz Abando hardly played and Anyang KGC fell to the Goyang Carrot Jumpers, 89-75, in Game 2 of the Korean Basketball League semifinals at Anyang Indoor Gymnasium on Saturday.

Anyang couldn’t pull off an encore two days after crushing Goyang, 99-43, in the opener as the Carrot Jumpers redeemed themselves to even their best-of-five series.

Abando, who only played 10 minutes and finished with two points in Game 1, logged just three minutes and went scoreless this time.

Byun Joon-Hyung led Anyang with 16 points to go along with four rebounds and five assists.

Lee Jung-Hyun powered Goyang with a 32-point outburst built on four 3-pointers.

Dedric Lawson also shone for the Carrot Jumpers with 24 points and 15 rebounds.

In the other semis matchup, Justin Gutang’s Changwon LG Sakers dropped Game 1, 73-68, at the hands of the defending champions Seoul SK Knights on Friday.
