MANILA, Philippines-TNT will have to chase the PBA Governors’ Cup crown without one of its main weapons in RR Pogoy, who was ruled out for the rest of the series with a fractured finger.

Pogoy said he suffered the injury on Friday when the Tropang Giga suffered a 117-103 loss to Barangay Ginebra at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The runner-up for the Best Player of the Conference award was in street clothes when TNT trooped to the floor in hopes of tying the series at 2-2.

“I only forced myself to finish out the rest of the game,” Pogoy said in Filipino during a short chat with The Inquirer.

Pogoy averaged 17.9 points on 51 percent shooting as he once again regained his role of being one of the Tropang Giga’s top marksmen.

He also produced 4.9 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.4 steals in 18 games this conference.

Minus Pogoy, TNT will have to double its effort in order to beat Ginebra in the best-of-seven affair.

TNT is also playing without center Justin Chua after going down with an ACL injury.

But TNT brought veteran Kelly Williams back in the fold in Game 4 after being sidelined since the quarters with a calf injury.
