Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro broke his right hand during the second quarter of the team’s first-round Game 1 against the host Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

The team confirmed the injury and said he would not return to the game won by the Heat, 130-117.

In the final minute of the first half, Herro dove for a loose ball but did not beat his opponent to it.

Herro hit his hand on the court while sliding past the spot of the ball. Though in visible pain, he stayed in the game and attempted a shot before subbing out.

Earlier in the same game, Bucks star and league MVP finalist Giannis Antetokounmpo left the game with a lower back contusion and was ruled out.
