MANILA, Philippines—Coach Anusorn “Tai” Bundit is set to return back to the country after successful stints with volleyball clubs in Thailand.

After winning titles for both the men’s and women’s team of Nakhon Ratchasima in the Volleyball Thailand League, Bundit is heading back to the country as revealed by his wife Phavinee Romaynond.

“Sending my husband to work in the Philippines. Earn a lot of money. Kids are eating and growing,” she said in a Facebook post.

However, he may be here for more business than usual.

A source closely tied to the situation confirmed to Inquirer Sports that he will act as a consultant for both Creamline and Choco Mucho in the Premier Volleyball League.

The Cool Smashers are the reigning All-Filipino Cup holders while the Flying Titans did not make the semifinals of the recently concluded conference.

Before flying to Thailand for the VTL, Bundit made a name for himself in the UAAP for helping Ateneo to two championships in Seasons 76 and 77.

After his colorful stint in Katipunan, the veteran tactician went on to continue his tremendous coaching run, this time in the PVL. He powered Creamline to three titles during his time.
