WORLD champions Toshi Ohara of Japan and Omar Abdulla Al-Rashid of the United Arab Emirates lived up to expectations as they pulled off impressive wins in the recent 2nd Sangyaw International Jet Ski Challenge-National Jet Ski Series third leg in Cancabato Bay in Tacloban City.

The 18-year-old Ohara, a two-time world junior titlist, swept the Pro Open Runabout class while Al-Rashid, 19, who led his XBJ Dubai team to the ProAM Ski Limited crown in the World Jet Ski, dominated the Pro Ski division.

Filipino Paul del Rosario, also a world champion, fell off his ski in the third lap, allowing Ohara to pull away in the event organized by the Jet Sports Association of the Philippines and the city government of Tacloban through Mayor Alfred Romualdez and Rep. Ferdinand Martin Romualdez.
