B.League: Matthew Wright’s Kyoto end slump, Thirdy Ravena boosts San-En win
MANILA, Philippines—Kyoto Hannaryz broke a three-game losing streak behind Matthew Wright’s performance, beating Shimane Susanoo Magic, 87-82, win against Shimane Susanoo Magic in the Japan B.League at Kyoto Gymnasium on Sunday.
Wright registered 19 points built on three triples to go along with six assists, two rebounds and two steals.

Thirdy Ravena and the San-En NeoPhoenix also won at the expense of the Kawasaki Brave Thunders, 91-75, at Todoroki Arena.
Ravena played 30 minutes and had 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Article continues after this advertisementHis older brother Kiefer, however, was not as fortunate after the Shiga Lakes took an 83-82 loss to Osaka Evessa at Ookini Arena.
Ravena had an efficient night, sinking six of his seven tries from the field for 13 points. He also had five rebounds and five dimes.
Dwight Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido also absorbed a loss against the Ibaraki Robots, 98-92, at Hokkai Kitaeru.
Ramos recorded eight points and five rebounds in 26 minutes for Hokkaido.
Meanwhile, the game between Kai Sotto’s Hiroshima Dragonflies and the Shinshu Brave Warriors was canceled after Shinshu didn’t have enough available players.
In a tweet, the Dragonflies said five Shinshu players were nursing injuries while another one tested positive for coronavirus.
In B2 action, Jordan Heading scored 17 points as the Nagasaki Velca dominated the Ehime Orange Vikings, 92-52, at Nagasaki Prefecture.
