Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has topped the NFL Players Association season-ending player retail sales list for the sixth time in his career and third year in a row.

The players union announced Thursday that Brady, who retired on February 1 at age 45, was the best moneyspinner among NFL stars on the season-ending list with fellow quarterback Patrick Mahomes of Super Bowl champion Kansas City in second place.

Brady played 20 seasons for the New England Patriots, guiding the squad to nine Super Bowl appearances and six titles before departing to play his final three campaigns for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, whom he sparked to the 2020 season title.

Brady’s number 12 jersey was a big seller after his move to the Bucs even when Tampa Bay won division titles but lost in the playoffs.

Either Brady or Mahomes has topped the sales chart every quarter since October 2018, with purchases of all official NFL products from March 1, 2022, to February 28, 2023 on the latest list.

Brady set nearly every NFL career passing record, including 7,753 completions in 12,050 attempts for 89,214 yards and 649 touchdowns.

The list measures purchases of items with player images or numbers such as jerseys, T-shirts, hoodies, souvenirs and more from online and traditional retail outlets as reported by licensed product makers.

Trailing Brady and Mahomes were, in order, Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow, Philadelphia quarterback Jalen Hurts, Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and two of his Cowboys teammates, linebacker Micah Parsons and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb.
