MANILA, Philippines—Rhenz Abando sustained his fine play to help the Anyang KGC gain a 2-1 series lead with an 81-70 win over the Seoul SK Knights in Game 3 of the 2022-23 Korean Basketball League Finals on Saturday at Jamsil Students Gymnasium.

Abando delivered 14 points, seven rebounds, two blocks, one assist, and one steal in over 34 minutes of playing time.

Anyang also drew firepower from Oh Se-keun and Omari Spellman to erase a 13-point deficit in the first half as they outscored Seoul, 50-33, in the last two quarters.

Oh led KGC with 23 points, nine rebounds, and two assists, while Spellman put up 16 points, seven rebounds, and one assist.

Abando and Co. try to take a 3-1 lead in the best-of-seven series in Game 4 on Monday at the same venue in Seoul.

Anyang won two straight games after losing the opener to the SK Knights.

Bukyung Choi powered Seoul with 23 points on 7-of-9 shooting.
