PBA mentor Bo Perasol may just move to the collegiate coaching circle after Ateneo named him as “the first choice” to replace Norman Black as head coach of the Blue Eagles.
Ricky Palou, Ateneo’s representative to the UAAP, told the Inquirer yesterday that Perasol topped the shortlist of candidates eyed to replace Black, who will step down after this year’s UAAP season to mentor Talk ‘N Text in the PBA.
“He’s the first choice of the search committee,” Palou said of Perasol. “But whoever it is, we want him on board as early as possible. We want him to serve as an assistant or a consultant this season.”
