PHNOM PENH—In her farewell act in the Southeast Asian Games, a pair of bronze medals is good enough as a parting gift for Charmaine Dolar
The 31-year-old aerobic gymnast bagged another bronze on Sunday, this time in partnership with Carl Joshua Tangonan in the mixed pair event at the National Olympic Stadium in 32nd SEA Games.
Dolar and Tangonan pooled together 18.2670 points following their routine and placed third behind the gold-medal tandem of Hoang Phong Le and Ngoc Thuy Vi Tran of Vietnam (19.233).
“I will always cherish the memory of competing in the SEA Games. It was an honor to represent our country,” said Dolar, who also claimed a bronze medal in the women’s aerobic individual category on Saturday.
She won three bronze medals in the SEA Games throughout her career.
The judges were likewise impressed by Cambodia’s Has Sokhor and Mo Sreypov, who finished with a silver medal (18.717).
