UAAP: NU adds height with addition of Kurt Perciano, Drew Delos Reyes

MANILA, Philippines—National University added two more big men after securing the commitments of Kurt Perciano and Drex Delos Reyes.

Perciano, who was a cornerstone of the NU Bullpups basketball program, will be joining fellow NUNS team mates Reinhard Jumamoy and RJ Colonia in the seniors’ division.

The 6-foot-7 bruiser averaged 6.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists for the Bullpups in the UAAP Season 85 boys’ basketball tournament.

“We’re excited that we have players that can help Omar (John), especially since players in the UAAP keep getting bigger and bigger,” coach Jeff Napa said in Filipino.

“We thank them both that they still chose NU.”

Delos Reyes, a 6-foot-8 big man, will have his first crack in the big league for last season’s Final Four candidate.

Delos Reyes and Perciano both have the green light to play immediately for NU in Season 86.
