Kaya-Iloilo clinches first PFL title
Kaya-Iloilo won the Philippines Football League title for the first time after Dynamic Herb Cebu was held to a scoreless draw at home by Stallion-Laguna in its season finale on Wednesday at DH Borromeo Sports Complex in Talisay City.
Cebu came to the second encounter in three days with the visiting Laguna, needing a victory to put pressure on Kaya in the title race, but Stallion played the role of spoiler behind the goalkeeping of veteran Patrick Deyto.

Kaya has 52 points with a game to spare on Saturday against Stallion at Rizal Memorial Stadium.

ADT’s withdrawal gave Cebu three more points to trim Kaya’s hold on top spot to two.
But Cebu couldn’t capitalize on the chance to take the provisional lead as Stallion was keen on not repeating its 1-0 loss to the same team last Sunday.
Key stops courtesy of Deyto left Cebu frustrated at the end of the match as its title hopes came to an end.
