PBA: Ben Adamos shipped to NLEX in 2-for-1 deal with Phoenix
MANILA, Philippines—NLEX will have more height when PBA Season 48 begins in a few months after acquiring the services of Ben Adamos via trade.
The PBA approved the trade proposed by the Road Warriors and the Fuel Masters on Tuesday, with Phoenix giving up Adamos for Reden Celda and Tzaddy Rangel.
Article continues after this advertisementAdamos has not suited up for Phoenix during the ongoing PBA On Tour preseason and had a forgettable last conference under coach Jamike Jarin.
The 6-foot-7 cager averaged only 1.4 points in eight games for Phoenix.
Adamos looks to have a renaissance of sorts when he reunites with his coach at the collegiate level in Frankie Lim, who coached the big man in Perpetual Help back in 2018.

Celda posted norms of two points and 1.5 rebounds in two games while Rangel averaged 2.5 markers and 2.5 boards for NLEX in the preseason.
