MANILA, Philippines—Thirdy Ravena will remain with the San-en NeoPhoenix in the Japanese B.League, the team confirmed on Wednesday.

After already having played with San-en for three years, Ravena is currently the longest-tenured Filipino import in Japan with four years under his belt.

Ravena said in a statement that he is “very happy” to be with Neophoenix.

“I’m very happy to be spending one more year with Neophoenix in the hopes of winning a championship. I’m very happy with the trust and the love the community has given me,” the Ateneo product said.

“Hopefully, I become a better player in order to help the team, win more games and hopefully make it to the playoffs and win a championship.”

Last season for San-en, Ravena was a silver lining with averages of 11.5 points, 4.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.

His assists average is also the 17th best in the league last year.

Ravena also reached the 1,000-point club of the Japan B.League in his third season with the NeoPhoenix.
