Kevin Quiambao continues to thrive under Topex Robinson’s tutelage
MANILA, Philippines–Kevin Quiambao’s game has been on an upward trend for La Salle Green Archers but that did not surprise coach Topex Robinson one bit.
After the Green Archers’ dominant 101-79 victory over Letran, Robinson lauded Quiambao’s all-around effort that pushed them a step forward in the Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup.

Quiambao registered 23 points and six rebounds in the victory, all while showing efficiency from the field, sinking seven of his 14 tries.
The big man, meanwhile, was nothing but grateful after hearing Robinson’s words.

Quiambao has been flourishing under the tutelage of Robinson in almost every aspect despite it being the preseason.
The incoming sophomore is already posting averages of 16.6 markers, 7.6 boards and 3.7 assists per game.
The mentorship of Robinson with Quiambao and the Green Archers will be put to the test on Monday when they face National University in the semifinals.
