MANILA, Philippines—Former PBA player Robert Bolick and wife Cassandra Yu tied the knot again in a church wedding on Friday in Cebu.
In an Instagram post, the former Northport player said that getting married again, more than a year after their civil wedding, was the best day of his life.
“I’m so lucky. The best day of my life. I can’t ask for more. You’re really the best thing that happened to me. You’re always there beside me no matter what happens,” wrote Bolick in Cebuano.
“When you walked down the aisle, I just cried. I couldn’t believe that I’ll marry the kindest, most beautiful and loving person in the world.”
Among the attendees at Bolick’s wedding at Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral were Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao and former PBA player Dondon Hontiveros.
Most recently, Bolick left the PBA and signed a hefty contract with the Fukushima Firebonds to play overseas in the B2 division of the Japan B.League.
In Bolick’s last season with Northport before leaving for Japan, he averaged 21.6 points. 5.4 rebounds, 6.1 assists and 1.0 steals per game.
