PBA: Roger Pogoy inks three-year extension with TNT

MANILA, Philippines—A recovering Roger Pogoy has signed a contract extension with the TNT Tropang Giga.

Still having a year left in the contract he signed in 2021, Pogoy signed a max extension of three years to stay with Tropang Giga until 2026.

Should the Far Eastern University product stay up until the end of the contract, he would be staying with TNT for 10 years after being selected in the special draft back in 2016.

Pogoy helped the Jojo Lastimosa-led TNT squad dominate in the PBA Governors’ Cup en route to the PBA Finals against Ginebra.

The two-way player’s conference run, however, was halted due to a dislocated finger. He missed the rest of the championship series.

Pogoy, who is part of Gilas Pilipinas’ 21-man pool for the Fiba World Cup, did not join the national team’s on going Europe camp.

In the Govs. Cup where Tropang Giga won the chip, Pogoy posted norms of 18.29 points, 3.98 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.35 steals per game.
