MANILA, Philippines—Months after his departure from Team Lakay, Filipino MMA fighter Eduard Folayang revealed his newly-built team named Lion Nations MMA.

The team will be training in the old Team Lakay gym in La Trinidad, Benguet, which was renamed and refurbished as the Landslide Martial Arts Training Center.

Joining the former ONE Lightweight Champion in the formation of the camp are Kevin Belingon, Honorio Banario and Joshua Pacio. All were former members of Mark Sangiao-led Team Lakay.

Also joining the high-ranking Filipino cage fighters were Edward Kelly and Jeremy Pacatiw, who were also formerly from Team Lakay.

“This (Lion Nations MMA) is not just a place to train, but a sanctuary where dreams are realized and legacies are born,” explained Folayang.

“We don’t just train fighters; we unleash greatness within individuals.”
