MANILA, Philippines—Gilas Pilipinas absorbed an 81-71 loss to Estonia in its first tune-up game in Tallinn, Estonia as part of its building for the 2023 Fiba World Cup.

Gilas trailed by as much as 22 points, 41-19, before finally succumbing at the buzzer behind by just ten points.

Coach Chot Reyes’ wards also fumbled the ball 23 times which resulted in 21 points for Estonia.

Dwight Ramos was the sole double-digit scorer for Gilas with 16 points and five rebounds. Thirdy Ravena followed with nine points.

Justin Brownlee, who arrived just a few days ago in Tallinn to join the Gilas training, finished with just eight markers and four boards.

Carlos Jurgens powered Estonia to the victory with a 20-marker outing while Mkk Jurkatamm chipped in 14.
