MANILA, Philippines—Kai Sotto went down to work with his Orlando Magic teammates ahead of the upcoming campaign in the NBA Summer League.
Sotto participated in team practice at AdventHealth Training Center in Orlando, Florida.
The 7-foot-3 Sotto cracked the Magic’s 22-man roster for the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas where Orlando, featuring its pair of first-round picks in Anthony Black (sixth) and Jett Howard (11th), plunges into action on Sunday against the Detroit Pistons.
Sotto and the Magic will then play the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday before taking on the New York Knicks on Thursday.

Sotto, who went undrafted in the 2022 NBA Draft, looks to become the first full-blooded Filipino to make the NBA.
The 21-year-old center spent two seasons with the Adelaide 36ers in Australia’s National Basketball League.
He averaged 6.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and nearly a block in only 13 minutes a game for the 36ers in the 2022-23 season.
