PBA 3×3: TNT bounces back to beat Pioneer for Leg 3 title

MANILA, Philippines—TNT showed its championship composure to snag the PBA 3X3 First Conference Season 3 Leg 3 title after defeating Pioneer Elastoseal, 17-13, at Ayala Malls Manila Bay on Tuesday.

Almond Vosotros, Lervin Flores, Samboy De Leon and Gryann Mendoza swept the entire leg to pocket the P100,000 cash prize after missing out on the playoffs in last week’s Leg 2.

Vosotros, one of the top 3×3 players in the country didn’t have his usual game as he missed six of his 10 attempts from the field to finish with only six points.

Fortunately for the Triple Giga, Flores and De Leon stepped up and combined for eight points.

Wilson Baltazar paced Pioneer, which pocketed P50,000, with six points.

Meanwhile, the Cavitex Braves edged San Miguel, 20-19, for third place.

Jorey Napoles powered the Braves, who claimed P30,000 consolation prize money, with 10 points while Ken Ighalo chipped in seven points.
