Alex Eala, partner reach W25 Aldershot doubles quarters
MANILA, Philippines—Alex Eala’s hot streak keeps going.
Fresh off of her fourth ITF title win, Eala and partner Urszula Radwanska of Poland barged into the W25 Aldershot doubles quarter after sweeping Lithuania’s Andre Lukosiute and the United Kingdom’s Eliz Maloney, 6-4, 6-4, on Wednesday (Manila time).

The quarters, however, will be a tougher challenge for Eala and her cohort as they face the British tandem of Emily Appleton and Lauryn John-Baptiste on Friday.
The duo of Appleton and John-Baptiste automatically got a quarters seat after being hailed as the tourney’s top-seed.

The Filipino tennis ace swept the Australian bet, 6-2, 6-3.
