TNT rules PBA 3×3 Season 3 grand finals
TNT kept its dominance in the PBA 3×3 competition after winning the Season 3 first conference championship over the weekend.
The Triple Giga defeated Cavitex, 21-18, in the final to be crowned grand champions once more on Sunday at Ayala Malls Market! Market!
Article continues after this advertisementThey leaned on the hot hands of Gryan Mendoza before Almond Vosotros nailed the game-clincher after trailing 12-7 early in the final.
Mendoza nailed crucial baskets to put TNT ahead 18-7, heading into the final two minutes of the thrilling match before Vosotros completed the victory with the winning shot.
This is the Triple Giga’s fifth straight conference title.

Mendoza finished with 10 points while Vosotros, the erstwhile tournament’s scoring champion, added seven points, five rebounds, and six assists.
Cavitex, coached by Kyles Lao, was led by the seven points of Dominick Fajardo, while Jorey Napoles, who was crowned the newest PBA scoring king added six
In the battle for third place, Meralco took down Barangay Ginebra, 18-14. –Celest Flores-Colina
