Carlos Loyzaga, the main cog of the Philippine team that won bronze medal in the 1954 Fiba World Championship, is recovering after suffering a stroke Thursday last week.
The 80-year-old Loyzaga, dubbed the Big Difference, is based in Australia. His son, PSC commissioner and executive director Chito Loyzaga, who flew to Australia, said the hoop icon is recovering well.
