Speaker lauds Gilas over win vs China: An inspiration beyond basketball court

MANILA, Philippines — House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez has extended his warmest congratulations to Gilas Pilipinas’ victory against China during the 2023 Fiba World Cup, which he said is “a powerful source of inspiration” beyond the basketball court.

Gilas Pilipinas, led by Jordan Clarkson’s 34 points, dismantled China 96-75 and secured its victory on Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
