Letran clobbers Mapua 66-60 to end 3-game slide
MANILA, Philippines – Kevin Alas flirted with a triple-double to lead Letran to a 66-60 win over beefed up Mapua Monday night in the NCAA Season 88 men’s basketball tournament at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.
Alas collected 21 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.
The Knights halted a three-game slide to notch its second win in five games but they barely hung on to their lead.

Mapua rallied from 17 points down to pull to within three, 59-62, but a steal by Alas and two free throws sealed the win for Letran.
Mike Parala had a double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in a losing cause.
