MANILA, Philippines—The rematch between Eduard Folayang and Amir Khan in ONE Championship ended the same way it did five years ago, with the Filipino MMA Legend reigning victorious.
On Saturday in ONE Fight Night 14: Stamp vs. Ham, Folayang defeated Khan via knockout in the third round at Singapore Indoor Stadium in a much-needed victory.
After a back and forth first and second round, the Lions Nations MMA cornerstone caught Khan with a left hook that rocked him down to the canvas.
With Khan out cold, Folayang hammered down a right hand which prompted the referee to call a stop for the lightweight match at the 1:57 mark of the third round.

It wasn’t a lucky punch for Folayang, though, as he methodically went to Khan’s body in the second frame, weakening the Singaporean foe before the huge blowout punch in the third.
Folayang’s win also signaled the halt of his five-game losing skid as he improved to a 23-13 record.
Before Saturday’s victory that put Folayang back in the win column, Folayang absorbed a loss against Edson Marques last year in One on Prime Video 5: De Ridder vs. Malykhin.
