MANILA, Philippines—Emilio Aguinaldo College put an end to Lyceum’s six-game win streak, 83-76, in the NCAA Season 99 men’s basketball tournament at San Juan Arena on Wednesday.

The Generals, who improved to 3-2, may have regained their winning ways  by defeating the league’s top team but coach Jerson Cabiltes isn’t focusing much emphasis on the victory.

“I’m not here to break any records, winning streak or anything. I’m only looking at one streak, which is making it to the Final Four. I’m hoping that they will work hard in order to get there,” said Cabiltes.

King Gurtiza helped EAC’s cause with 18 points and eight rebounds. Nat Cosejo had 14 markers and seven boards as well while Ralph Robin scored 13 in the victory.

JM Bravo led the Pirates with 18 points and nine rebounds in the loss that put the squad to a 6-1 card. Mclaude Guadaña and Enoch Valdez also had 13 and 12 markers, respectively.
