San Beda flaunts complete line up in clobbering EAC, 81-65

MANILA, Philippines — San Beda flaunted its complete roster and cruised to an 81-65 victory over listless Emilio Aguinaldo College Thursday in the 88th NCAA men’s basketball competition at San Juan Arena.

With Nigerian center Ola Adeogun back in tow after a four-game suspension, the Red Lions looked unstoppable all game but pulled away for good in the third period.

San Beda’s guards did the damage as Rome Dela Rosa and Baser Amer led the way with 15 points apiece while Anjo Caram added 13 points.

Two freethrows from Kyle Pascual with a minute to go in the third quarter gave the Red Lions a 65-45 edge, their biggest of the night.

Jake Pascual also finished in double digits with 11 points while Adeogun scored nine points on his debut.

The Generals, on the other hand, absorbed their fourth defeat with just a victory with Jan Jamon scoring 18 points in a losing cause.
