PH hosts Asian karting

ACE Filipino karters test their skills against foreign rivals as the Philippines hosts the second round of the 2012 Asian Karting Open Championship set July 27 to 29 at the Carmona Racetrack.

Two Tough Gear-FERN-C Racing karters—Vencer John Suba and Milo Rivera— lead the country’s bid along with Industria Racing’s CJ Tsui and Javi Benitez and lady karter Sacha Feliciano of Marcelo Racing in this event sanctioned by the Automobile Association Philippines.

Four other countries—powerhouse Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong—have so far confirmed their participation in the event that stakes titles in Formula 125 Open Senior, Formula 125 Open Junior, Mini-ROK, SQ Cadet Novice and Expert, SQ Novice, SQ Expert, SQ Veteran, Yamaha Expert and Yamaha Novice.

The event is also the second leg of the Denso KF2-KF3 Cup.
