Stephen Holt not letting losing PBA debut affect his confidence
MANILA, Philippines–Stephen Holt is not going to let a losing start to his PBA career get to him as Terrafirma’s top overall draft pick now focuses on trying to get better for the rest of the Commissioner’s Cup.
“It’s just one loss,” Holt said after posting 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals in the Dyip’s 108-103 defeat to the NorthPort Batang Pier on Friday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Holt struggled shooting the ball for the Dyip, missing seven of nine attempts including an open three-pointer before the two-minute mark and the Batang Pier up by three.
But if there are things that Holt made an impression on was his ability to find the open guy and his activity on the defensive end.

“It’s just one loss and we can’t put our heads down. It’s a long season,” he added.
Terrafirma’s next game is against Blackwater on Wednesday at Ynares Center in Antipolo City.
