Buoyed by the efforts of Kat Tolentino and Sisi Rondina in Game 3 on Tuesday, the Flying Titans are en route to their first-ever PVL Finals appearance against top team Creamline.
Unfortunately for Cheng, she could not take part in the series against Cignal due to a freak ACL injury.
She sustained the injury two months ago when Choco Mucho matched up with HD Spikers in the elimination round. To add salt to the wounds, the torn ACL was in the same knee from her previous injury back in 2015.
While Cheng will miss the action of the sister-team best-of-three clash in the All-Filipino Finals, she will certainly send her high spirits with coach Dante Alinsunurin and the Flying Titans beginning Thursday at Mall of Asia arena for Game 1.
